Testimonies,Tips, and Tidbits

Testimonies, Tips and Tidbits–what a mouthful! What kind of website could have such a variety of topics? As you read the pages of this blog you will find testimonies of my personal life experiences and my walk with God, tips I’ve learned while teaching Bible to others, and Tidbits I’ve learned that have helped me along my journey. I hope you enjoy reading the pages of this blog and glean nuggets of information that will help you on your journey through life.

Jesus Christ is transforming my heart, soul, spirit and life. As the Psalmist said, “I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respected not the proud, nor turn aside to lies.

Many O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I were to declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.” (Psalm 40:1-5 KJV)

Jesus has done this in my life. He has delivered me from the miry clay, set my feet upon the rock, and put a new song in my heart–a song of praise unto my God. At a very low point in my life, I attempted to commit suicide but God intervened and miraculously stopped me from going through with it. Now God has given me a new life filled with love, joy, peace and many other blessings and promises from Him. I am alive today to testify to the goodness of God, and to share some of the wonderful things He has done in my life. God has done many wondrous works in my life but they are too numerous to remember, and only a portion of them appear on the pages of this blog.

There are more testimonies about my experiences in church on my other blogs. They include stories of things that happened when I was teaching in Sunday School and other ministries. There are cute stories about the capers of children in Sunday School, informative stories about experiences where I learned more about teaching, and tips I want to share with those leading the church or teaching. Perhaps they can benefit others and help them prevent some of the mistakes I made along the way. But God was faithful to take care of all of us regardless of the circumstances. He is the all-powerful one!

Sharing our testimonies can help others overcome obstacles, including the enemy of our souls. Sharing God’s work in our lives will also bring Him glory and pleasure. This is why I desire to share these stories with you. I want to praise the Lord for His faithfulness, goodness, and mercy. He is worthy to be praised.

“Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” (Psalm 150:6 KJV)

Limited Coverage

Limited Coverage

Some curriculum development companies plan for only a small, repetitive cycle of Bible lessons in their curriculum packages–one or two years worth. After completing this cycle, the teacher returns to the beginning of the curriculum cycle and presents his/her new students with the first quarter of material from the original curriculum package. One curriculum package […]

Games Galore

Games Galore

Games can be wonderful teaching tools if they add something to the lesson being taught. However, sometimes unforeseen circumstances make certain games impossible to use. I encountered a few challenges with games. One challenge maybe the size of the classroom. Some games require large rooms and plenty of open space so the students can move […]

Copyright Chains

Copyright Chains

Copyright laws can be good because they attempt to protect people from others who may want to steal and sell their creative works. Like most laws, they only work if the tempted person chooses to obey the law rather than disobey it. At times copyright laws or chains can be so strict they can actually […]
