Heart to Heart Ministry
Heart to heart Ministry is the ministry God calls me and other Christians to do. It began as sharing God’s message with others when I was in junior high school in about 1970. Since that time I have spent many years sharing God’s word with others. After years of working in Children’s ministry, God called me to write for His glory.
This writing ministry began with a vision for a Bible curriculum called “Living Stones.” That curriculum is still on my heart to write but not all of the pieces are in place yet. As I began working on the curriculum, God changed direction on me.
God showed me that He works in the hearts of people everywhere. God wants people to believe in the work He has done, is doing, and will do in the future. God wants people to have faith. Scripture tells us that faith comes from hearing the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)
God gently draws people to Himself by His loving kindness. Romans 5:5 NKJV tells us, “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
God is the source of love. In 1 John 4:16 NKJV the Bible tells us, “… God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God.” It also tells us, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Brethren, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” (1John 4:7-10 NKJV)
As Christians, we have been given a ministry. In 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 (NKJV) the Bible tells us, “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”
Because I am a born again child of God, I have been called to this ministry of reconciliation. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ lives in my heart and I have been called to share God’s message with others.
Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins and made a way for us to get forgiveness, love, eternal life in heaven, and a personal relationship with God.
Heart to heart Ministry is this ministry of reconciling unbelievers to God and sharing God’s word with others. It is speaking God’s truth in love to anyone who will listen. I do this sharing on an individual basis, in groups, and through this writing ministry. God gives me the inspiration, I write the message out, and God sees that those He wants to have the message can get it. God’s message comes from His heart, to my heart, and out to others. Therefore I have called this ministry “Heart to heart Ministry.”
May God get the glory for all that is accomplished through this Heart to heart Ministry!
